, Furniture/Today’s Top 100 U.S. Furniture stores posted a 7.8% increase in furniture, bedding and accessories sales in 2013, growing revenue to a combined $34.1 billion, up from $31.7 billion the year before. Furniture Today’s Key 20 Sources for the U.S. Furniture Market, 2014
, A number of top case goods and upholstery resources saw growth in 2013, a sign that economic tailwinds — ranging from lower unemployment to rising housing prices — continue to benefit the furniture industry. Collectively, sources Furniture/ Today identified on its annual list of Key Sources for the U.S. Market grew to $10.6 billion in sales in 2013, up 4% from $10.2 billion in 2012. While not the double-digit growth that many would prefer, it still marks the fourth straight year of gains since the 2007-2009 recession.
